3D & VR PHOTOGRAPHY (click on below samples)

For optimum performance, use the most updated browser

3D properties are the most immersive way to experience real-world places, whether you’re on a traditional browser or using a VR headset. But with VR, these 3D properties are that much more immersive and engaging, because viewers get a total sense of presence - the cognitive sense of physically being in a place.

Some Reasons To Use:

  • Specialty/high-end properties

  • Out-of-towners

  • Builders/Remodelers (shoot during building process for

homeowners/buyers - always know where your

wiring/plumbing is located)

  • Renters (military, college, business)

  • VRBO/Airbnb

As part of a new pilot project, called Sonoma Select, Airbnb is partnering with Matterport to offer 360° tours of selected listings - see article and example here (you'll have to scroll to exact spot)

  • Businesses

  • Your own portfolio - Added value for potential clients

  • Closing gift for the emotional seller

Other Features:

  • Virtual Reality

  • Floor plans created from the scanned property

  • Statistics updated daily though Matterport services

Matterport provides a summation of 3 analytic categories:

Impressions (number of times a web page with your model or link to your model has been opened)

Visits (number of times your 3D showcase has been launched in a browser)

Unique Visitors (number of distinct online users to have experienced your model once or more)

  • Labeling property features

  • Measurement tools

Getting Ready For A Shoot:

  • Make sure the property is exactly how you want it to be shown (the camera doesn't lie)

  • It's best if people and animals are gone during the shoot

  • Expect a minimum of 2 hours per shoot (more if combined with still photography)

Delivery Turnaround Times:

  • Matterport guarantees 24 hour turnaround time after uploading the data to their cloud.

  • Floor plan turnaround times are an additional 24-48 hours (floor plans cannot be created until the model has been created)
